This oil painting is on 16” x 12” archival Arches Oil Paper and has a 7/8” white border surrounding the painting.

This complex painting of tangled rope abstracts the subject matter with flat blocks of bold color. The painting was created while observing a still-life of tangled rope in a garden.

Framing recommendations: For this work, I would advise framing the painting behind glass with a mat that comes right up to the edge of the painted image.
